I just got notification that Daniel has posted several identical job openings on Craigs List, advertising for the same job in different locations. Here's the text of one of those postings. Please note the new email address he's using -- nathan.sterling76@gmail.com.

The Promotions Assistant will assist the Promotions Director and Assistant Promotions Director in the execution of station events and promotions.
The Promotions Assistant will interact with listeners at concerts, promotions and other events while representing the station in a professional manner.
Some responsibilities include: checking sound equipment, hanging banners, handing out prizes and other activities to ensure successful events.

| I replied to one of these posts on craigslist and sent my resume. At the time, I did not know that the post was a scam. The day after I sent my resume I got a call from a North Jersey number. A woman told me that her manager wanted to set up an interview with me in Secaucus, NJ. For some reason I got a weird feeling about it, and ended up googling the "Nathan Sterling" e-mail address. Thankfully I found this message board, or else I would have gone to the "interview" and gotten duped out of who knows what. Thank-you for creating this!! |

| thanks for having this site. i had just typed up a letter to send to this guy saying i was interested in this opening, but decided i wanted to find out what "station" he was talking about. after a couple google searches i was led here. and am thankful i was. |
